What’s on the Agenda?
- Learning, Practicing, and Leading with Confidence
- During this six-week program, you’ll dive deep into the foundational elements of mobility and movement instruction, using Move With Ease’s unique teaching methodology. Designed for novice instructors, the program balances hands-on learning with personal growth, equipping you to lead classes that are not only effective but also empowering for your clients.
- Each week includes guided workshops, practical teaching labs, and self-practice hours. You’ll learn how to deliver classes with precision, adaptability, and a touch of your own personality—all while staying true to the Move With Ease philosophy.
What To Expect Each Week
- Saturday Gatherings: We’ll meet every Saturday from 12 PM to 4 PM, starting February 8th. Each session is thoughtfully structured to include:
- - Personal Practice: Refine your movement skills with progressive drills and exercises.
- - Teaching Labs: Practice leading classes with personalized feedback.
- - Community Building: Collaborate with peers to foster a supportive learning environment.
What You’ll Learn
Through progressive, hands-on training, you’ll explore:
- Anatomy, Posture, and Human Body: Having basic knowledge of the body and how it works will increase your confidence AND allow you to more success in when teaching.
- The Core of Mobility Training: Build a deep understanding of the principles behind movement and how they impact the body. - Step-by-Step Progressions: Safe and accessible techniques for all fitness levels, emphasizing mindfulness, stability, and breath. - Move With Ease’s Teaching Methodology: A client-centered approach to mobility instruction that fosters long-term engagement and progress. - Class Design and Delivery: Learn to structure your classes effectively, create seamless transitions, and integrate natural movement into routines.

- Groundwork: Sitting, kneeling, crawling, and get-ups for improved mobility and stability. - Balance and Coordination: Explore footwork, transitions, and single-leg stability. - Core Integration: Learn how to teach functional core activation for movement control.
2. Practical Applications:
- Progressions for Movements: Adapting exercises for beginners to advanced clients. - Problem Solving: Addressing common mobility restrictions and offering modifications. - Real-Life Movement Patterns: Teach natural movements like squatting, lunging, and hinging that translate into everyday life.
3. Instructor Development: - Communication and Cueing: Deliver clear, engaging instructions. - Building Confidence: Practice leading mock classes with peer and mentor feedback. - Connecting with Clients: Learn strategies to build trust, create community, and foster motivation.

- 40 Hours of Self-Practice: Essential to developing your confidence, these hours are designed for you to embody what you teach.
- Weekly In-Person Training: Led the Founder and Owner, you’ll learn Move With Ease’s teaching philosophy and methodologies.
- Skills Assessment: Demonstrate your ability to teach effectively and pass a comprehensive evaluation before moving forward.
- 90-Day Probationary Period: After certification, join Move With Ease as a probationary instructor with ongoing mentorship and support.
- Instructor Toolkit: Receive an official Move With Ease T-shirt and Instructor Manual to kickstart your teaching journey.

A little about me
Hi, I'm Katrina Rogers, Founder of Move With Ease. I have been teaching and instructing individuals for 18 years. I strongly believe that we thrive when we are learning and growing together.
I believe strongly it is my duty and priviledge to help the next generation to level up. I want everyone to succeed.

- USATF Track and Field Coach from 2007-2020
- High School Track and Field Coach 2009-2020
- International Blues Dance Instructor (Been teaching since 2015)
- Certified Personal Trainer since 2013
- Founder and Head Coach Olympica Track Club 2015-2020
- Owner and Lead Instructor of Move With Ease since 2023
