Where Movement Becomes Practice, and Practice Becomes Living.
Learning to move isn’t a workout —
it’s a lifelong conversation with your body, your community, and your curiosity.
READY TO MOVE DIFFERENT?

At Move With Ease, we don’t offer scattered classes or endless options.
We offer one pathway and one evolving curriculum — designed to help you build capacity, confidence, and connection in your body over time.
The curriculum integrates:
Natural and functional movement
Mobility and joint health
Strength and resilience
Coordination, balance, and rhythm
Nervous system awareness and adaptability
Every practice builds on the last. Nothing is random. Nothing is rushed.
The Movement Collective is your entry point into the Move With Ease practice.
Membership gives you access to guided practice — online or in person — rooted in the same curriculum and philosophy.
Movement Alchemy is our cornerstone practice.
This is not a workout class. It is a 90‑minute movement practice designed to:
deepen your relationship with your body
expand your movement vocabulary
cultivate strength, ease, and adaptability
create space for learning, reflection, and integration
You’ll move slowly at times, deliberately at others, always with intention and curiosity. This is where strength meets softness, effort meets awareness, and movement becomes meaningful.
We are not interested in drop‑in fitness culture.
We are interested in people who want to show up, stay curious, and engage in practice — together.
The Move With Ease community values:
learning over performance
consistency over intensity
collaboration over competition
depth over trends
You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or experienced. You need to be willing to learn.
Move With Ease is for people who:
want a long‑term relationship with movement
are curious about how their body works
value education, reflection, and embodied learning
want to feel capable and at home in their body
If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
Begin your movement practice.
I didn’t come to movement because I wanted to work out.
I came to movement because I wanted to understand my body.
For years, I did what many people do. I followed programs. I moved through familiar fitness and yoga spaces. I worked hard, stayed consistent, and still felt like something was missing. My body was strong in some ways, restricted in others, and I didn’t trust it the way I wanted to.
What I was craving wasn’t more intensity — it was clarity.
When I began studying movement more deeply, everything shifted. I stopped asking, “How hard can I push?” and started asking, “What is my body asking for?” I learned to listen, to observe, and to practice movement as a skill rather than a task to complete.
Over time, movement became less about fixing myself and more about building a relationship — one rooted in curiosity, respect, and patience.
Move With Ease grew from this place.
I teach movement the way I practice it: thoughtfully, honestly, and with care. I don’t believe movement should dominate your life or leave you feeling broken. I believe it should support you — in how you stand, walk, carry, rest, play, and age.
My role is not to push you. It’s to guide you.
To offer structure without rigidity, challenge without force, and space for learning to unfold at your own pace.
My hope is simple.
That you move with more ease.
Not just in class — but in your life.
Ease doesn’t mean effortless. It means capable. It means adaptable. It means knowing how to respond when things feel unfamiliar, heavy, or uncertain.
I hope you develop confidence in your body — not because it looks a certain way, but because you trust it.
I hope movement becomes something you return to when life feels full, stressful, or demanding — not another thing you feel behind on.
Most of all, I hope you discover that your body is not a problem to solve, but a place you can learn from.
This is the practice. This is the invitation.
When you join Move With Ease, you’re not joining a program.
You’re entering a relationship — with movement, with community, and with a way of learning that supports you for the long term.
You are always welcome here.

Movement is not something you do once a day and forget. It’s how you live, respond, adapt, and express yourself.
At Move With Ease, movement is treated as a practice — much like learning a language or cultivating a craft. It requires time, attention, repetition, and care.
Practice means:
showing up regularly
paying attention to sensation and feedback
refining skill over time
allowing learning to unfold gradually
There is no finish line. Only deeper understanding.
Modern fitness often disconnects people from their bodies.
More reps. More intensity. More pushing.
We practice movement differently.
Our work is about restoring trust, capacity, and intelligence within the body — so movement becomes something you rely on, not something that breaks you down.
Through practice, we cultivate:
ease in everyday movement
resilience under load and stress
confidence in unfamiliar environments
adaptability as life changes
Learning is central to everything we do.
You are not just following exercises — you are learning how your body moves, where it compensates, and how to expand its options.
Education happens through:
guided exploration
clear cues and intention
repetition with awareness
reflection and integration
The goal is not perfection. The goal is understanding.
"Great mobility class that worked all the muscles and joints that have been bothering me due to injury and pregnancy. Katrina is a great and caring instructor, and MWE is a community-oriented gym that focuses on personalized teaching and not just leading through a set routine. I'll be back! "
-
"Love the vibe here. Katrina was so knowledgeable and responsive! She talked me through a hamstring injury I have and adapted the movements. This class was sneakily rigorous and strength building with unique movements that challenge stability, coordination, and joint movement. The studio space is sunny, clean, cute, and welcoming. I’ll be sure to be back!"
-
"The class was great! Very informative for how to move your body. Was a well balanced class with full body strengthening and functional movement. The teachers are very informed about body mechanics. I loved the queues for how to get more movement, and benefit from the moves."

What equipment do I need?
Minimal. A mat is helpful. Sometimes blocks or a band are useful. But many of our movement practice sessions use just your body.
Do I need any experience?
Nope! Whether you're stiff as a board or super active, the classes and programs are scalable. We'll help you find your starting point and grow from there.
How much time do I need to practice?
I would recommend training a minimum of 2 days per week. I offer in person and virtual options that fit into your schedule. Our online school (pre-recorded instruction provides the most flexibility that delivers adaptable programming.
Is this therapy/rehab?
Not exactly. While mobility helps with reduce pain, and return natural movement patterns; this isn’t a replacement for clinical rehab. That said, many folks do feel major improvements in stiffness, aches, and movement quality. Many of my students have achieved major improvements in how their body functions and feels..
Can I combine this with other training?
Yes -- mobility training plays beautifully with strength training, cardio, or whatever movement you are already doing. Think of it as the secret sauce that helps everything else feel better -- safer.
